First time

This morning when I went to the gym I noticed that the lights were on. I prefer to run in the low light of early morning. I don’t know why, but it’s just more sacred for me. Today it was 50 degrees fahrenheit and I drove over to the running track behind the school where I work and ran four and a half miles. It was good to be out again and to feel a real wind in my face. I love the stillness of the early morning just before dawn. There is something sacred about the quiet.
